The Falls History Project was established in 2000 and since that time we have been exploring and documenting the history of our region with the goal of establishing a research archive for future students and community members. Our most recent topic focused on the Black River connection to the Vietnam War. Thanks to Al Ciezki, Chuck Buswell, Andy Thundercloud, Gary Hoyer, Ken Schoolcraft, Xong Xiong, and Randy Bjerke for their contributions to this year's research.

Recent graduate Sydney Sampson-Webb served as the project intern in 2018-19. Twenty senior history students have served as interns for the projects. We have compiled more than 840 pages of material through our annual projects, including 57 interviews with local residents on a variety of topics. Visit our website at for access to each of the 17 projects!
